High Voltage Microflex

Micro Flex cables like the FEP high voltage cables, are available uncoated or with a coated surface for reliable bonding or encapsulating of the cable using a silicone rubber or resin.  Etched Micro Flex has a continuously etched surface for those applications requiring direct bonding or encapsulation such as high voltage transformers.  The etching process allows the cable to adhere to many different potting materials with minimal preparation, especially epoxy and other compatible resins.  Silicone  coated Micro Flex is processed with a silicone rubber coating applied to the etched surface in the form of a thin wall, continuous extrusion thereby providing potting characteristics similar to silicone rubber cable and allowing the user to achieve a superior dielectric bond and an excellent medium for silicone rubber potting.  Primer should be applied to the cable as required by the bonding or potting material manufacturer.

NOTE: There is no outer jacket over the braid on these three cables; For Shielded MicroFlex cables with an outer jacket, please consult our Sales Office. 

The basic color of High Voltage Micro Flex cable is Natural. Other colors are available on special order. To specify a color add a hyphen to the Part Number as follows:
-1 Red -2 Blue -3 Green -4 Orange -5 Brown -6 Yellow -7 White -8 Violet -9 Black -10 Grey
