Maxxum is a series of single pin, shielded connectors and cable assemblies rated at 25 KVDC. These connectors are robust in their construction, using stainless steel for the threaded coupling nut and body. This series is ideally suited for use as a high power TWT collector interconnect.
Maxxum series connectors are used in applications where a tightly shielded assembly is required. The cable assemblies use FEP cable with a double braid crimped directly to the stainless steel body of the connector.
Both plastic and high alumina ceramic receptacles are available depending on the users hermeticity requirements. EMI and safety shielding from the cable assembly to the receptacle mounting surface is a feature of both the plastic and ceramic receptacles.
Maxxum connectors and cable assemblies will operate at their rated voltage at 70,000 feet altitude and over a temperature excursion of -55 to +125° C.
